Searching ImagesBy entering the desired keywords in the selected language, a search is run as the standard setting in the offers of all agencies. An individual agency can also be selected for running a search as well as selected one ore several brands from the Royalty-Free and/or the Rights-Managed agency window. The search results are displayed as thumbnails.rch. The search results are displayed as thumbnails.Narrowing down the Search Define Display of Thumbnails in the Search Result Meaning of the Icons below the Thumbnails in the Search Result Narrowing down the SearchEnter the desired search keywords in the desired language in the corresponding field. In doing so, you can also combine various keywords, for example, with AND, OR and other Boolean operators. If you separate the words with a blank space/blank character, the keywords in AND-combinations are searched. Capital and small letters or umlauts need not be paid attention to in entering the keywords.Furthermore, it is possible to search according to many additional criteria, for example, the color range, shades, style or formats can be defined. Generally, you decide whether a new search should be run or the search should be run in the latest search result. Define Display of Thumbnails in the Search ResultThe search results are displayed as thumbnails. The size and number of the displayed thumbnails can be defined under ?Settings?.If, according to the setting, there is not enough space on the screen for all the images found, they will be distributed among several pages. By means of arrow symbols you may leaf through the pages at will. Meaning of the Icons below the Thumbnails in the Search ResultBelow each thumbnail you will find the number of the image as well as the icons for preview, shopping basket and lightbox. For Royalty-Free images an icon for CD-ROM/DVD is also shown, if the image is part of a CD-ROM or DVD.A click on the preview icon switches to an enlarged display of the image, the previews (with watermark). A click on the shopping basket icon puts the image in the shopping basket. A click on the CD-ROM icon shows the CD-ROM collection from which the image has been taken (only in case of royalty-free images) A click on the lightbox icon places the image in the respective lightbox. By clicking on the preview icon you reach the preview, an enlarged display of the image, which shows you the prices of this image or the possibility to calculate the price right away. Furthermore you can test various effects for this image, e.g. color modifications, rotations, brightness, in order to judge better the suitability for the desired use beforehand (?Style?). By clicking on ?Zoom? you can enlarge parts of the image in order to better recognize the details. Under ?Extended? you will find all keywords given to this image. Through this mask you can search for other images with these keywords or narrow down the latest search result. A click on the lightbox icon below the thumbnail places the selected image in the virtual lightbox. This lightbox can be sent to other users by e-mail. Lightboxes can be renamed. Furthermore, it is possible to compile additional lightboxes. By clicking on the shopping basket icon you put an image into the shopping basket. By clicking on the CD-ROM icon below a thumbnail you can view the CD or DVD, which gives you more detailed information about an image or a series and the price. |
